Jobs Suruhanjaya Sekuriti (SC):

Qualified Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above are invited to fill vacancies at the Suruhanjaya Security / Securities Commission (SC) as follows: –

1. Assistant Manager/ Manager

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy with a minimum of three (3) years of technical post qualification experience in a public accounting firm / as preparer of financial statements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting standards, auditing standards, securities laws, companies laws and corporate finance.

2. Senior Executive

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy with a minimum of one (1) year of technical post qualification experience in a public accounting firm / as preparer of financial statements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting standards, auditing standards, securities laws, companies laws and corporate finance.

3. Senior Manager, Enforcement, Regulation and Quality Assurance

  • A strong first degree in Law or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least six (6) years’ relevant working experience

4. Assistant General Manager, Capital Market Statistics

  • A strong first degree in statistics, econometrics, computer engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least six (6) to ten (10) years’ relevant work experience in capital markets/finance or statistics.
  • Possess of good quantitative and analytical skills; statistics and knowledge in information technology.

5. Assistant Manager/ Manager, Capital Market Statistics

  • A strong first degree in statistics, econometrics, finance or any other relevant discipline.
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years’ relevant work experience particularly in information management, business knowledge, accounting, statistics, quantitative methods, quantitative analysis economics, or finance.
  • Possess of good quantitative and analytical skills; statistics and knowledge in information technology.
  • Knowledgeable in data warehousing and basic programming in MS Access would be an added advantage.

Other General Requirements

  • A strong first degree in law, economics, finance or accounting with relevant industry experience and knowledge
  • Two (2) to eight (8) years’ relevant experience for the job and seniority
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and relevant technical areas
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as sound judgment
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and willingness to work in a diverse team
  • Exceptional ability to write, communicate and operate under pressure
