About The International Islamic University Malaysia

The International Islamic University Malaysia , also known as IIUM or UIAM, is a public publicly funded university in Malaysia. Its main campus is located in Gombak, Selangor with its Centre for Foundation Studies situated in Petaling Jaya and its medical-centric branch in Kuantan, Pahang. The University was established in 23 May 1983, founded on Islamic principles with the aim to become the premier Islamic university in the world. It was meant to be a comprehensive international high education institution, “inspired by the world-view of Tawhid and the Islamic philosophy of the unity of knowledge as well as its concept of holistic education”. Islamic values are inculcated into all disciplines. At present, the University offers various bachelor, master’s degree and Phd courses at its 13 faculties, also known as kulliyyah.

Applications are invited from qualified Malaysian citizens to apply for positions in IIUM : –

1. DENTAL SURGERY ASSISTANT [U-17]

Requirements

  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia OR any relevant qualification recognised by the Government.; AND
  • Completed successfully training course with excellent and have equivalent certificate in Dental Surgery recognised by the Government.

2. DENTAL NURSE (U-29)

Requirements

  • Diploma in Dental Nursing from Dental Nursing Training School, Ministry of Health, recognised by the Government, or equivalent qualification.
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.

3. PUBLIC HEALTH ATTENDANT [U-3]

Requirements

  • Completed Form Three of Government School
  • Able to speak, read and write in Bahasa Malaysia satisfactorily.
  • Apllicant should be Malaysian citizens.

4. SECURITY GUARD (KP-11)

Requirements

  • Penilaian Menengah Rendah/Sijil Rendah Pelajaran with PASS in Bahasa Malaysia or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government; OR
  • Ex-Constabel Malaysian Royal Police Force/Private Malaysian Arm Forces confirmed in the post and possessed good service record with the ability to speak, read and write in Bahasa Malaysia satisfactorily.
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.

5. RELIGIOUS OFFICER (S-41)

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Islamic Studies recognized by the Government from any local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
  • Hafiz (memorize the Quran)
  • Preferably Male candidates
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.

6. SPORTS ASSISTANT (S-17)

Requirements

  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government, with CREDIT in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (including oral examination).
  • Be able to converse and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Pleasant personality and good interpersonal skill
  • Mature, proactive and dynamic individual with ability to adapt to changes and must be able to work under pressure.
  • Practising Muslim and consistent in covering aurah
  • Contract Basis Only
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.

7. ASSISTANT SPORTS OFFICER [S-27]

Requirements

  • Diploma in Sports Science and Management / Public Administration recognised by the Government, from any local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
  • All candidates must have obtained Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
  • Be able to converse and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Pleasant personality and good interpersonal skill
  • Mature, proactive and dynamic individual with ability to adapt to changes and must be able to work under pressure.
  • Practising Muslim and consistent in covering aurah
  • Contract Basis Only
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizen.
