Persatuan Usahawan dan Industri ICT Bumiputera Malaysia (NEF) is the single voice for all matters that impact the Bumiputera ICT industry and entrepreneurs.

It was formed in 1997 as a support system and self-help group for Bumiputera technopreneurs. As time passes, it has evolve into a body that is now recognized by the Government of Malaysia as the leading organisation focused in representing Bumiputera Technopreneurs in Malaysia. NEF’s primary areas of focus are Technopreneur Development, Market Access, Funding and Creativity and Innovation.

1. Account & Investment Manager

Responsibilities:

  • To provide leadership on day to day accounts and investment related matters to support the business operations and the growth of the group of company.
  • To prepare the annual budget, management report and monitor the operational finance, accounting and taxation functions for the organisation.
  • Evaluation of new investment opportunities, the implementation strategy for acquisitions, disposals and restructuring.
  • Participates in corporate planning exercises and due diligence processes.
  • Other responsibilities includes liaison with Bankers, external auditors and government authorities.

Requirements:

  • Recognize Degree holder with minimum 8 years experience in the Accounting/ Finance/ Banking/ Economics/ ACCA.
  • A high degree of pro-activity and adaptability are expected and candidate must have strong writing skills, a solid foundation of analytical abilities and well-developed interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have excellent research and reporting skills and the ability to work well under tight deadlines.
  • Below 35 years of age.

2. Branding & PR Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall brand and image of the organisation; raise and safeguard the PR/ Publicity profile organisation.
  • Responsible for all media relations activities, crisis communications, and special events coordination with a focus on new events and services launches and local market launches.
  • Entrusted to communicate key messages of the organisation to the target groups through various media platforms such as print, electronic and online, both local and international.
  • Manage relationships with a variety of media including financial, business, local and vertical and across media types including blogs, online, print and broadcast.
  • Ensure branding consistency and build brand equity/ value via communications activities across all business units.
  • Promoting the organisation achievements, activities and events of significance and their impact on the stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Recognize Diploma/ Degree holder with minimum 8 years experience in the Public Relation/ Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Branding.
  • Possess strategic and hands-on knowledge on how the media operates and has excellent contacts with the media fraternity.
  • Must possess strong corporate writing and editing skills, in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, and is able to produce high-quality deliverables that are of international standards. Ability to communicate in other language(s) is a plus.
  • Must have excellent research and communications skills, plus the ability to work well under tight deadlines.
  • Below 35 years of age.

3. Training Manager/Executive

Responsibilities:

TRAINING MANAGER:

  • Identify training modules and programs internally and from other training providers.
  • Organize and coordinate training activities including the delivery of training programs.
  • Develop and update training programs and materials.
  • Evaluation, monitoring and reporting of training activities and their effectiveness.
  • Promotion and marketing training programs.
  • Liaison with government bodies and relevant organisation for registrations and certifications and other training activities.

TRAINING SR. EXECUTIVE / EXECUTIVE:

  • Assist the Manager in coordinating and managing training process from commencement until completion.
  • Coordination of training programs, monitoring of participants’ progress and update accurate training data.
  • Prepare training reports for managerial review.
  • Liaison with government bodies and relevant organisation for registrations and certifications and other training activities.

Requirements:

  • Recognize Diploma/ Degree holder with minimum 3 years experience in the Training, development and ICT industry
  • A self-starter and good team player with strong leadership and excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Creative, results and service oriented with the ability to work effectively with operational staff.
  • Good industry networking contacts.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Below 35 years of age.
